My quote for the day is "Nothing is static, not even a booming economy!" This is a time when all true Americans must question the meaning of being an American, for the definition is changing daily because of a government that is not by the people but by the corporation! Does history repeat itself or do We the People just repeat unlearned history?
The more older folks I talk to in resent, the more the tone is that the state of our economy rings a distinctive bell that sounds like depression. As with this current credit crisis or any crisis (past or present) it is only after the fact that any attempt at action is given. The unfortunate thing is that humanity is reactive and not proactive.
My vision of the future so called American dream is grim. As senators once stood on the steps in Rome, they once said "If we don't change our ways we are going to fall", and as history shows, they did....
