I don't know about you, but I am sick and tired of listening to the televised so called experts about the current economic conditions we are in! Just because human beings like to look back at the recent past to suggest that this turbulent time will soon be erased in short sequence, does nothing more than tell me that they are not looking back far enough in the past to derive true or better educated assumptions. The key is assumptions are just that, they are opinions.

Two quotes to ponder: "How fortunate for leaders that men do not think." "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed." author, Adolf Hitler.

Where does this problem ultimately lie you may ask? With all of us.....
It is due to our lack of financial education and understanding of fiat money (printed dollars backed only by a promise). We the people have turned over the reigns of our own constitution for the short lived material and indebted joy of having a big screen TV/New Car/Big House/Credit Cards/Home Equity Loans/Etc...

The fact is when the media portrays our legendary fat dumb and happy/over payed CEO's as being very smart or god like geniuses, it is by far the furthest thing from the truth. I don't call a person or entity that entices people to throw their hard earned worked money at them for FREE, so they can squander on selfish euphoric greed as being genius.

The best example of genius is the nearly dead old school mentality my parents have always taught and lived by....which is simply "If you don't have it, Don't spend it" Amazingly simple isn't it? But long forgotten common sense in a un-common sense/credit driven world.

So, Wake up America! and lets get back to BASICS!

My quote for the day is "Nothing is static, not even a booming economy!" This is a time when all true Americans must question the meaning of being an American, for the definition is changing daily because of a government that is not by the people but by the corporation! Does history repeat itself or do We the People just repeat unlearned history?

The more older folks I talk to in resent, the more the tone is that the state of our economy rings a distinctive bell that sounds like depression. As with this current credit crisis or any crisis (past or present) it is only after the fact that any attempt at action is given. The unfortunate thing is that humanity is reactive and not proactive.

My vision of the future so called American dream is grim. As senators once stood on the steps in Rome, they once said "If we don't change our ways we are going to fall", and as history shows, they did....

In this current so called economy we are all forced to sit as captive spectators to new records in fuel cost. The paradox is that no matter what team your cheering for, you still end up loosing more than just cash at the pump! Does...Freedom & Liberty come to mind? As my Dad has said time and time again, "nothing is static in life", not even a booming economy...

I hate to say it my friends, but the American way has a new definition.

The Superman comics portray what used to be more of the true meaning. Unlike today, it's being re-written by non-Americans.

I ask you to sit back and remember a not so distant past when the American-way was about the people by the people.

It is sad that middle class America is being forced into inevitable poverty. We as a people are a Tipping Point Society...Our own history shows this to be fact. Only after sudden circumstance or tragedy do we take action. Examples of this are the civil war, sputnik, and now New Orleans. We must heed our ability to foresee problems and make real effort to correct what we can.

With the leadership that we wrongfully elected and the arrogance that we show, we look like the biggest hippocrates. We have fought and are fighting countries because they don't believe in" our God" or manage "their people" like we do. But like at how we are worshiping "our God" and treat "our people". I don't have to type anything, all you have to do is pop on your TV or tune in to your radio. It is breathtaking.

This is so true. It seems like the only people the Bush family cares about is the rich ones. Those rich sons of bitches would rather spit on the poor, but depends on us to doing everything for them. If we are worthless, why do you need us so? We make you all rich, what would happen if we all stopped? Money doesn't mean a hill of beans. Life is priceless. So stop killing us!

What can you expect from a President who is always late to react, and slow to respond. Then his mother goes on TV a week later while visiting the refugees at the stadium in Houson and makes some supid comment about how most of them were economically deprived, and "how well this is working for them."After 9/11 our government spent billions to get ready for our next disaster, and yet with advance notice, and the resources to deal with it, it allowed the people of New Orleans to drown. Let me revise that, it allowed the less well off people of NO to drown, because every effort was made to get well off out of danger.The U.S. has all it needs to help these folks rebuild their homes, and their lives. Unfortunately, it won't happen, because all our efforts are geared towards winning a war we should never have been involved in.

It is a great tragegy that the people are experiencing in New Orleans. But just don't think that everything that should be done is being done correctly. It just seems to me that the people in charge are just doing all of this because the camera is in their faces. Because when Hurricane Safety was brought to them earlier, they didn't give a damn. "That couldn't possibly happen in America." But put a camera in their face, they care about everybody and everythig. They have done everything in their power to prevent this. Yeah Right!

I welcome my fellow Americans to my Blog for Freedom's Spirit.

Since Katrina has come and gone, we must all ask ourselves if the meaning of a true Leader is defined by personal aspiration and the ability to persuade inorder to fulfill a career challenge? The irony is that this question is the definition of most so called elected politicians/officials. I hope and pray that all of America is in question of the lack of leadership in service to us. We as true American's should not persuade nor be persuaded.
